About Finarkein

Making consented financial data useful for credit decisions

Finarkein was founded in Pune to address a clear gap: India's AA framework opened access to quality bank data, but lenders lacked a way to query it without custom pipelines. We built that layer.

The Story

Why Finarkein began

The founding team worked with the data infrastructure supporting India's banking system. When the Account Aggregator framework arrived, its potential was clear: borrowers could consent to share real bank data with lenders, replacing manual statement collection.

Raw AA data still took substantial engineering to interpret. Credit analysts could not simply ask a question and receive an auditable answer. Data teams had to build pipelines, classify transactions, and create reports. The work was slow, and results were difficult to audit.

Finarkein is the query layer we wanted: ask a credit question in plain language, receive a structured answer with its full reasoning trace, and keep that reasoning ready for audit.

Our Mission

Credit decisions analysts explain, committees verify, and borrowers challenge

A score without support creates compliance risk. Every credit decision through Finarkein includes its full reasoning trace: the transactions, calculations, and policy thresholds behind it. That is auditability.

We are building the infrastructure layer that helps lenders use consented financial data without heavy engineering overhead or compromising the data minimisation principles required by the AA framework.
